The Middle East Architecture Awards, where the best architect, the best architecture office, the best young architect and the best engineer were determined, found their owners

In the competition held for the third time this year, the "Architect of the Year" award was given to Melkan Gürsel and Murat Tabanlıoğlu. In this section, Tabanlıoğlu Architecture was also selected as one of the two best architectural offices of 2010.

ın the section where the projects are evaluated, Tripoli Congress Center built by Tabanloğlu in Libya, built by Sytem İnşaat, was selected as the "Best institutional and cultural structure" in 2010. This building was also declared the commendable building of the year as one of the two best buildings among 133 projects nominated in 13 different categories. It was developed by Sytem İnşaat as the first and most modern structure of the city, located in the very center of Tripoli, with a capacity of 3 thousand people.

this year, Tabanlıoğlu Architecture from Turkey was deemed worthy of this prestigious award, in which architects designing in the Middle East and the recently realized buildings in the region are evaluated. Melkan Tabanlıoğlu received 4 awards at the ceremony with a wide participation from the world of architecture, design, construction and investment. Aiming at a contemporary level in the architectural future of the Middle East, conceptually and physically, the competition committee emphasized that the architecture produced in Turkey contributed greatly to their vision.
